Overview
A portal is a special mechanism that allows characters to travel between two distant locations quickly and easily. Most often, the two locations are on different planes. In fact, portals are the primary mechanism for travelling to different planes.
For the most part, travelling through a portal is as simple as clicking on the button (inside of the "doors and portals" pane). However, all portals have a cost associated with them - and this cost is paid in one or more of Action Points, Magic Points, or Hit Points.
