Faction Honor
Overview

Honor is a type of "currency" that a faction will gain over time. Honor is used to power various upgrades that the faction has (such as Forges and Ward Strength enhancements).

Honor is obtained by performing actions - usually raiding another faction's stronghold and capturing their flag (or standard). The higher a faction's honor score, the more "glory" they have obtained.

However, honor is transient. It can be lost by performing dishonorable actions (such as raiding factions who are of significantly lower level).

Along with honor comes Faction Points. Faction Points, too, are a kind of currency. Faction Points are used to purchase upgrades. Upgrades are bought with Faction Points and Honor is used to pay for their upkeep.

Unlike honor, Faction Points cannot be lost due to dishonorable activity. They are permanent - unless spent. Faction Points are gained along with Honor, but at 1/2 the "Honor" value of an activity (thus, if an action gains the faction 8 Honor, they will gain 4 Faction Points).

Honor can be obtained in the following activities:

When raiding, it is important to note the level of the faction being raided. If that faction's level is lower than your own, then the honor gain will be less. If they are of significantly lower level than you (5 levels or more), the honor gain will be negative: you will lose honor.

If multiple factions band together to perform a single raid, the honor gains will be spread among them proportionally and according to their own levels.
