The Word has many aspects. One of those aspects is that of vengeance, and the Seraph is the expression of the Word in that regard. They are the ultimate soldier in the armies of Paradise.
The abilities of the Seraph are almost entirely geared towards combat. They are unflinching in their focus and terrible in aspect.
| | | Clockwork Cloud (30 CP)  As you have grown closer to the forces that drive justice and order, your body has become more mechanist in nature. As a result, small clockwork nodules now orbit your person and will harm any that attempt to inflict damage upon your person. This skill grants the Seraph an innate cloud of protective clockwork devices. These devices will bludgeon anyone who attempts to harm the Seraph using hand-to-hand or melee weapons. |
| | | Clockwork Blade (60 CP)  Your body has become increasingly mechanized, and now includes a retractable, sword-like weapon whose edge is comprised of thousands of sharp, spinning gears. This ability grants the Seraph an innate, sword-like weapon with thousands of sharp, rotating gears along its blade. This weapon deals a decent amount of Magical damage. |
| | | Clockwork Cannon (60 CP)  Your body has become increasingly mechanized. As a result, your angelic form now includes an integrated, magical 'gun' through which you may better dispense justice to the infidel. This ability grants the Seraph an innate ranged weapon that fires accellerated bursts of magical power. The weapon utilizes the Seraph's long arms skill tree and consumes Magic Points as its ammunition. |
| | | Gear of the Soul (60 CP)  You have become increasingly mechanized and your gears now include a great Soul Gear that works to rapidly replenish your magicks. This ability causes the Seraph to regenerate spent Magic Points at double the normal rate. The Seraph cannot go above his or her normal Magic Point maximum, however. |
| | | Incendia Conicio (60 CP)  Your body has become increasingly mechanized. As a result, your angelic form now includes an integrated flame-throwing weapon. This ability grants the Seraph an innate ranged weapon that deals fire damage. The Incendia Conicio utilizes the character's small arms combat skills, and includes both a single-target and area-of-effect attack. The weapon derives its ammunition through the consumption of Magic Points. |
| | | Spring of the Enhanced Capacitor (60 CP)  The gears and springs that comprise your makeup are of the best quality and power, and grant you increased magical storage and health. This ability applies a permanent, innate increase to both the Seraph's Magic Point and Hit Point totals. |
| | | Enhanced Senses (30 CP)  You are always alert and are very difficult to surprise. This ability allows you to see any and all characters that are hidden in a location. This is an innate ability and is always active. |
| | | Eye of Clockwork Precision (30 CP)  You are able to summon power from the Lords of Order to attack with extreme precision. This is a specialized charge attack that dramatically increases the to-hit roll of the Seraph when it is used. It cannot be used in conjunction with either Lesser or Greater Smite. |
| | | Grace of Blood (30 CP)  You are able to withstand more damage. This ability applies a permanent increase to the character's Hit Point total. |
| | | Greater Smite (30 CP)  You are able to summon the mightiest of vengeful power into your attacks. This is an especially devastating attack that deals an extraordinary amount of Holy damage to its target. Further, if the target is an Infernal Behemoth, the damage is multiplied by 1.5. |
| | | Hand of Zealotry (60 CP)  Your law is the law of higher powers, and the unbelievers shall fall before you. This ability allows the angel to deal justice to both evil and neutral aligned characters with equal impunity, free from morality shift. The character's morality will still shift towards good for attacking and killing evil characters but will no longer shift in any direction for attacking or killing neutral characters. |
| | | Holy Fury (30 CP)  You are able to focus your Holy anger in such a way that allows you to remain in battle for longer periods of time. This is a click power that, when activated, immediately grants the Seraph a great many additional, temporary Hit Points. However, the extra Hit Points will dissappear at the rate of 1 per minute - regardless if the the Seraph has been wounded or not. The power allows the Seraph to go above his or her normal maximum Hit Points. |
| | | Infinite Attack (30 CP)  You are able to deal a staggering amount of damage with each attack. This ability adds a permanent, innate damage bonus of +3 to all attacks performed by the character with any weapon. It does not apply to spell attacks but it does apply to enhanced attacks. This ability stacks with Strong Attack and Elite Attack. |
| | | Morale Aura (30 CP)  Your mere presence is capable of rejuvenating the flagging spirits of your allies. When active, all good-aligned characters in your square will feel their spirits uplifted and are granted a bonus to hit on all attacks versus evil targets. This is a toggle power, and consumes a number of Magic Points per minute. |
| | | Wings (30 CP)  The Lords of Justice have sought fit to grant you great feathered wings. You are capable of flight with them. This is a click-toggle power. When active, you may fly over any location easily. |
| | | Wing Shards (60 CP)  Your wings have become more mechanical and clockwork in nature and now include knife-like "feathers." You may use them as a weapon. This ability grants the Seraph the ability to fire his wing shards at targets. The attack may be used against single targets or as an area-of-effect attack. This attack consumes Magic Points. The character must be flying in order to utilize the Area of Effect attack, but the single target attack may be used at any time. |
