Paladins are angelkind. They are individuals who have chosen the path of Good and righteousness. Paladins comprise the bulk of the Divine faction's military might and are terrible warriors on the battlefield. Their powers grant them extraordinary abilities at smiting evil and great protections from damage.
Paladins are a Good-aligned character class. They believe in fostering goodwill and the value of the group over the individual.
In order to qualify for this class, the character's alignment must be "Good." If the Paladin ever drifts from the just path, many of his or her innate powers will cease to function until righteousness once again is the master of the Paladin's soul.
| | | Divine Armor (20 CP)  Your association with the forces of light has strengthened your resolve and you are better able to resist damage. This ability acts as a type of armor that is always equipped. It will reduce any Hit Point damage done to the character. This is an innate ability. |
| | | Lesser Smite (20 CP)  You are able to tap into the Holy Word and deliver it through your attacks. This ability can be used to enhance one of your other attacks. If the attack is successful, significant additional damage will be dealt. The use of this ability requires extra Action Points and the expenditure of several Magic Points. If the attack fails, both the Action Points and Magic Points are lost. |
| | | Purify (20 CP)  You are capable of binding locations to your faction. Binding a location will increase your overall power. The more locations you bind, the stronger your faction becomes. This ability allows you to infuse a location with Magic Points. The more Magic Points spent, the stronger the binding; however, a location that is bound at +10 grants no more power than a location bound at +1. The more Magic Points spent binding a location, the harder it will be for an opposing faction to bind the location to them. You may only infuse 1 Magic Point at a time. |
| | | Strengthen (20 CP)  You are capable of boosting your strength through the manipulation of your faith for a short period of time. When you use this power, your strength will increase. Any hand-to-hand or melee attacks will do additional damage to your foes. This ability, when activated, only lasts for a short period of time. It costs Magic Points to activate. |
| | | Strong Attack (20 CP)  Your knowledge of combat has increased so that your ability to deal damage has gone up. This ability adds a permanent, innate damage bonus of +1 to all attacks performed by the character with any weapon. It does not apply to spell attacks but it does apply to enhanced attacks. |
| | | Elite Attack (40 CP)  Your knowledge of combat has further increased. Your attacks are even more damaging. This ability adds a permanent, innate damage bonus of +2 to all attacks performed by the character with any weapon. It does not apply to spell attacks but it does apply to enhanced attacks. This ability stacks with Strong Attack. |
