Myrmidons are extraordinary warriors who have spent their energies increasing their combat prowess. They are extremely adaptive in combat situations and masters of weaponry.
All Myrmidons possess an innate ability to perform "critical hits" when attacking their foes. From time to time, an attack will be performed so well that additional damage is dealt to the target. This is a feature of the class and no skill purchase is required to use it: it happens automatically.
Myrmidons are a non-aligned character class. Choosing this class means that the character can never ascend to a Divine class or descend to an Infernal one: the raw moral factions of Good and Evil are closed to them. This does not mean that the Myrmidon cannot be "good" or "evil" - quite the opposite. It means, rather, that these individuals believe in free will and freedom of choice over a particular ethos.
There are no particular alignment requirements to enter this character class.
| | | Enhanced Senses (20 CP)  You are always alert and are very difficult to surprise. This ability allows you to see any and all characters that are hidden in a location. This is an innate ability and is always active. |
| | | Focused Attack (20 CP)  You are better able to focus in the heat of battle than most and as a result can make powerful attacks. This ability allows you to spend additional Action Points and a small amount of Magic Points to focus one of your normal attacks. If the attack is successful, it will deal extra damage. This attack stacks with the innate critical hit attack bonus of the Myrmidon. |
| | | Improved Critical (20 CP)  You are more adept at achieving critical strikes. This ability improves the Myrmidon's chances of landing a critical hit. |
| | | Meditation (20 CP)  You are capable of entering a state of healing meditation. This ability allows you to heal yourself without the use of a First Aid Kit, spell, or other external agency. It requires a minimal amount of Magic Points to use. |
| | | Strong Attack (20 CP)  Your knowledge of combat has increased so that your ability to deal damage has gone up. This ability adds a permanent, innate damage bonus of +1 to all attacks performed by the character with any weapon. It does not apply to spell attacks but it does apply to enhanced attacks. This ability stacks with the Myrmidon's critical hit ability. |
| | | Super Reflexes (20 CP)  You have honed your sense of time so that moments can seem like years. This makes your reactions faster than normal. This skill grants the character a defensive bonus to all types of attack. This is an innate ability; it is always on. |
| | | Weapon Mastery (20 CP)  Weapons sing to you. You understand them in your soul. This ability grants the character an additional chance to hit with any and all weaponry he touches. This is an innate ability and is always on. |
