Advocates are true Angels. They are the voice of the Word that is, and their abilities reflect a philosophy of unity and justice.
Advocates possess few combat abilities when matched against the soldier Seraphs, but those that they do have are powerful. They are often leaders of Angelic combat squads and tend to suffer fewer ill effects in the wastes of Stygia.
Advocates are immune to Unholy damage. However it should be noted that damage inflicted because of travel upon the realm of Stygia is, while a result of the evil-ness of the plane, a "fundamental" sort of damage and is not soakable in this manner.
| | | Cosmic Affinity (30 CP)  Your understanding of magic has brought you more in tune with the cosmos. This skill increases the character's maximum Magic Point total by 15 points. |
| | | Holy Transfer (60 CP)  Your affinity with magic and Holy energies allows you to cast spells normally reserved only for yourself onto other characters. This skill gives the Advocate the ability to target normally 'caster-only' spells onto other characters at an increased Magic Point and Action Point cost. The target character must be of good alignment. This ability will not work with spells cast from scrolls. |
| | | Holy Extension (90 CP)  Your ability with Holy Transfer has greatly improved, and you are able to warp the fabric of magic to produce more powerful effects. The durations of spells you cast with Holy Transfer are doubled. |
| | | Enchant Armor (30 CP)  You are capable of binding magics into armor, making it more powerful and useful. This skill allows the character to imbue most types of armor with magical properties. The amount any one suit of armor can be enchanted depends on the armor itself. This skill requires a great deal of Magic Points and becomes more difficult the more a suit of armor has been enchanted. |
| | | Enchant Weapon (30 CP)  You are capable of binding magics into weapons, making them more powerful. This skill allows the character to imbue most weaponry with magical properties. The amount any one weapon can be enchanted depends on the weapon itself. This skill requires a great deal of Magic Points and becomes more difficult the more a weapon has been enchanted. |
| | | Eye of Judgement (30 CP)  You are capable of focusing the Word through your eyes as a powerful weapon. This ability allows the Advocate to project beams of holy power from his eyes. They do significant damage but consume Magic Points. |
| | | Hand of Zealotry (60 CP)  Your law is the law of higher powers, and the unbelievers shall fall before you. This ability allows the angel to deal justice to both evil and neutral aligned characters with equal impunity, free from morality shift. The character's morality will still shift towards good for attacking and killing evil characters but will no longer shift in any direction for attacking or killing neutral characters. |
| | | Grace of Blood (30 CP)  You are able to withstand more damage. This ability applies a permanent increase to the character's Hit Point total. |
| | | Healing Aura (30 CP)  You are capable of generating an aura of regenerative power that will continually heal the good people around you. When activated, this power causes all good-aligned characters in your square to begin regenerating Hit Point damage. This is a toggle power, and consumes an incredible amount of Magic Points. |
| | | Martyr's Death (30 CP)  Your connection to the Word is so great that even in death portions of your lifeforce remain where you once stood. Upon the death of the character (for any reason), the location where he died will be immediately infused to a powerful degree. |
| | | Sublime Sacrifice (60 CP)  You are capable of sacrificing your own life so that others may become stronger. Upon activation of this power, the Advocate immediately dies. However, the number of Hit Points he or she has remaining (divided by two) is immediately applied to all Good characters in the location. This ability does not allow receiving characters to go above their maximum Hit Points, however. |
| | | Sin Eater (30 CP)  Your affinity with the Word grants you the ability to absolve sins, taking them upon yourself. This ability allows the Advocate to trade points of his own morality to members of his own faction, raising theirs. The target character must be neutral or evil. This is a one-for-one trade and costs no Magic Points. |
| | | Song of the Word (30 CP)  You are capable of channeling The Word through your voice alone. The Word causes intense pain and damage to all who hear it who are impure of morality. This ability allows the Advocate to tap into the great, binding force of all that is good and holy - The Word. This ability is a devastating area of effect attack that only affects those of evil aligment. |
| | | Wings (30 CP)  The Lords of Justice have sought fit to grant you great feathered wings. You are capable of flight with them. This is a click-toggle power. When active, you may fly over any location easily. |
