Alignment

Alignment refers to your character's ethical and moral leaning - whether or not you are "good," "evil," or "neutral" (or "unaligned"). Your character's alignment is directly tied to their Morality score. Your alignment governs many things - not the least of which is defining which classes your character can become.

All characters begin play with a morality score of 0 - a position of perfect balance. This is unlikely to remain the state of affairs, however, as nearly every action will adjust the morality score up or down.

Characters whose morality score is greater than or equal to 20 are declared to be aligned "good."

Characters whose morality score is greater than or equal to -20 are declared to be aligned "evil."

All other characters are considered "neutral."

Upon reaching level 10, all characters will be able to select from either Sorcerer or Myrmidon, the Unaligned tier two classes. If the character's alignment is Evil, the classes Pariah and Defiler will also be available. If the character is Good, the classes Paladin and Shepherd will be selectable (there will never be more than four class choices at level 10 nor fewer than two).

There are many actions which modify your morality. Not all are listed here, but the most common ones include:
